The Desert Hot Springs Inn is a true hidden gem! We have stayed there twice and were equally delighted each time. The first time we stayed in a room with a kitchenette which was spacious, well appointed and spotlessly clean. The second time we stayed in a standard room which came with a mini-fridge and hot water kettle. The room was spotless and there was access to a microwave in the shared kitchen area which was equally clean and well-appointed. An additional perk that make the Desert Hot Springs Inn special is the garden area outback with a gas grill, gas fire pit, and fenced dog run area as well as fabulous views of the mountains. There is also the mineral water spa and pool! I am also amazed at how responsive the management is to requests given everything is handled remotely. (You get a text message with the access code to the main gate and your room.) Last time we stayed I forgot my Kindle in the room. They found it and shipped it back to me right away. Finally, and perhaps best of all for pet owners, they do not charge a dog fee which is a huge plus for pet owners!

I can’t say enough good things about this place! It smelled great and my room was very clean. Not 5 stars resort but it sure is a top quality 3 star! We arrived Friday to the place being empty! We had the entire place to ourselves and it was great! Even Saturday night with other guest checked in it was quiet and relaxing! We picked her because we wanted a nice quiet weekend where we could relax and unwind. We definitely took advantage of a the 420 friendly aspect. The backyard is a great view point to smoke from. The pool and spa were both perfect temperatures. We most definitely will be returning again in the future!

We've stayed in other similar lodgings in Desert Hot Springs, and enjoyed the amenities, spas, saunas and jacuzzi...with less dog poop on premises...as a pet-friendly and 420 friendly facility, it is a shame that so many others would just allow their dogs to shit all over the place, and LEAVE IT. 🤢🤢🤢 As a "contact-less" facility, unmanned desk it is a easy check in as you just use the Gate Code and Room Codes provided. The King Bed Suite was nice, spartan, clean and had a great view across the valley to Palm Springs. While very clean, our room unfortunately had an incredibly STRONG CHEMICAL smell which persisted throughout our stay. I would recommend they switch to organic cleaning products such as Simply Green, which do not leave such strong odors. The kitchenette was super sweet, everything brand new and had we planned on a weekend there would have made full use of it. For a Saturday night it was nice and quiet which i truly appreciated after 5 days traveling halfway across the country and back.... The pool was nicely heated for a morning swim and the jacuzzi was Aaight. Not the hottest I've experienced but hot enough to soothe the body. All in All it was a very good stay, and I would come back for sure, with some sage to smudge the room.

Honestly, this place was great. I stayed in the Deluxe Studio King Room and it was spacious, comfortable, clean, and had all the amenities I needed. The person who helped me (I believe his name was John) was extremely kind and helpful — he even let us check in an hour and a half early, which we really appreciated. What I loved most about this hotel is that it’s small and quiet, with only a few rooms, so it never felt crowded. There's a pool, a jacuzzi, a community kitchen, and a nice backyard area to relax in. It was honestly the perfect place to unwind, and I truly hope to come back again. Thank you so much for the wonderful stay!

This was our third stay at Desert Hot Springs Inn. We keep coming back because we love the extremely calm serene vibe, the beautiful minimally decorated rooms, the comfortable bed, the friendly staff, and the outstanding water in the hot tub and the pool. The shared fenced back patio and yard area is a great bonus for traveling with our dog! This is our stopover when we drive from Tucson to the coast, and it's always a wonderful refuge from the stress of driving. We've already booked our next stay!
