We had a great experience at the El Morocco Inn. It's a beautiful historic property that has a really cool Moroccan theme. The mineral pools were amazing and it's very clean and quiet. They offered a great unique continental breakfast which we enjoyed. We will definitely be going back again. I would definitely recommend going to this unique and eclectic Inn.
This place has a ton of charm and lots of character. A great place for a relaxing weekend away to sit and read a book or bathe in a hot pool. My wife and I also treated ourselves to the deep tissue massage treatment and it was worth every penny. The rooms are charming and we found the little kitchenette very handy, as there is no on-site restaurant and none of the local options particularly interested us. BYO food and beverages, and you're good to go. I echo the feedback from some guests that the premises is showing signs of aging and could use some TLC in certain areas. The plumbing in the room was also a little noisy at night. Ultimately, considering the reasonable price relative to more expensive places in the area, we would still recommend it to people who appreciate value for money over luxury.
Amazing relaxation experience. We booked a 60 minute massage during our stay and it was perfection. Healing mineral water pools and saunas. Morning continental breakfast was excellent. Very quiet, very intimate. Loves the 24hr access to the pools. Will be returning.
This is a small motel with a central courtyard built on a mineral hot spring. The rooms are charmingly decorated. Sheets and bed and pillows are very comfortable. The amenities include robes, WiFi, TV with streaming services, 24 hr pools, pool towel service, several small saunas with red light, a covered outdoor kitchen area, breakfast, make-your-own French pot coffee anytime, in-room microwave and mini-fridge, AC, a lounge room playing the movie Casablanca on loop, dozens of DVD movies to borrow for viewing in your room, and a several areas out back with chairs and lounges. It’s quiet and relaxing. Probably not the best place for kids - it’s mostly quiet folks seeking relaxation. There is one 93 degree outdoor pool and a 103 degree covered hot pool area. Plenty of poolside sitting areas, with two fireplaces. The grounds are very clean. The staff are all outstanding - friendly, helpful, eager to please. The owner Justin is often onsite working and doing maintenance tasks among other things. He’s full of helpful information about the area. Massage services can be reserved in advance, provided by local area massage therapists. If you want a modern place, a party place, or to make loud poolside phone calls, this isn’t it. Low key and relaxing.
I arrived early and was welcomed by Brenda! The staff was great, and Rebecca made sure I had everything I needed! The mineral springs were wonderful! Being a “spa junkie” I have a standard for the experience, and El Morocco checked all my boxes. The atmosphere was the best; quaint, quiet and peaceful! Exactly what I needed! Thank you. S. Arizona.
