Hope Springs is simply our favourite getaway! It’s simple, elegant and peaceful. Come here to read, soak in the pristine pools and truly detach from the outside world. Hope Springs is total relaxation and rejuvenation! They put on a delicious breakfast spread, the staff are helpful and friendly and other guests are always respectful of one and other’s space and quiet time when they visit. There is a secret code at Hope Springs which has been carried on for decades. This place is very special ❤️🙏

I've been coming to Desert Hot Springs for several years, but this was my first time at Hope Springs... and now I aspire to become one of the regulars. It's so peaceful. I felt fully recharged after soaking in the mineral hot spring pools and getting excellent sleep. The owner and staff create a welcoming and homey atmosphere. Breakfasts included with the stay are lavish with plenty of vegan, GF, etc options. The communal kitchen is a big bonus of this property. Made our own simple meals, replacing time driving to/from restaurants with more time soaking. As part of a spa treatment I had the best neck and head massage of my life! Carina released all the tension I was carrying around from too much computer time. I'm so glad I've found my new spot for desert retreats.

Hope Springs Resort has been part of my desert experience for 23 years and I wouldn't have it any other way. A visual, peaceful delight, Hope is my home away from home and the pools, the fabulous landscape (thank you, Evica!), streamlined Mid Century rooms, and of course the incredibly lovely and attentive people who give the place heart are all part and parcel to a wonderful experience each and every time. They have become like family and as soon as I walk through their door, I know everything is going to be alright!

This place is truly MAGICAL. you could not have nicer people, feel more welcome… Home baked goods in the morning, choices for people with food, sensitivities… And the landscaping… everywhere you look there is beauty and harmony. We came to unplug from a very difficult time and we left completely regenerated and grounded. And the waters… drinking the filtered mineralized water that they have, and soaking… Two days were more regenerative than a month vacation in Paris (though Paris was amazing, just not this restorative)

I'm a longtime visitor to Desert Hot Springs. I've tried a number of spa hotels/ B&Bs in the DHS area, but somehow had never gotten around to trying Hope Springs. Until this weekend. If you're looking for quiet serenity, and to have the place mostly to yourself (or at least, it feels that way), come to Hope Springs. It's a restored mid-century modern motel with a lot of kitschy and fun details that have been preserved - such as the sunken fire pit (now a fountain), vintage-looking kitchen appliances, and the huge 50s-era sign that is still lit-up, but is now blank. There's also a large spring-fed pool, and two hot tubs (one covered, one not). And a great view of the mountains - which as of the time of writing, were dusted with snow. The breakfast buffet is generous, and very tasty - probably the most lavish of any local B&B. On both mornings I was there, they had a loaf of fresh bread, a pan of coffee cake or apple crumble, a frittata, muffins, dried fruit, fresh berries, various yogurts, cereal, fruit juice, and coffee (both iced and hot). And snacks and beverages available throughout the day. There was a communal kitchen and grill, as well, but I didn't need to use it. Maybe next time. There weren't too many downsides. The room decor was a little sparse for me, with white walls, white bedding, and only a single framed print above the bed - I prefer a more organic and cozy space. But that was only a matter of preference. It was perfectly fine, and befitted the mid-century style. And while I prefer a bathtub over a shower, you get the bathroom as it was built (in the 50s). One comment about DHS in general: What some "newbies" might see as a desolate and run-down area, I've come to see as peaceful, quiet, and calm. It's not touristy, but that's the point. People don't come to DHS to party, drink, and go clubbing; that's what Palm Springs is for. And don't be fooled by the residential appearance of the neighborhood; most DHS spa hotels are close to, or next to a house or street with houses. It's not weird once you're used to it. So if you're reading this, and are making a reservation with the expectation of staying at a fancy B&B with a bell desk and on-site restaurant, you may want to reset your expectations. That's virtually non-existent in DHS.
