We stayed here for 4 days 3 nights in March and there were times when the pools were very crowded but we still found them relaxing and worth what we paid for our stay The room: our room was very large and clean, but did feel dated and like it had not been remodeled in a very long time. The bed was 10/10 ⭐️ very comfortable. The linens were soft and the blankets cozy, ample very nice pillows in our 2nd floor room. The shower kinda sucked, the water pressure was poor lol and it felt like you couldn’t get the tub spout fully off and the shower fully on 1/5 ⭐️ for the bathroom. The WiFi was also poor connection quality so working on our laptops or watching YouTube wasn’t possible The mineral pools: 10/10⭐️ the hotter smaller pools were often busy but I never felt crowded and the water itself was wonderful. The large “#8” cool pool was a dream. Perfect temperature, large pool with varying depths so something for everyone and I enjoyed people watching while I was relaxing in the water. The pools do have some leaves and flowers floating on the water from all the plants surrounding the pools but I don’t feel they detract from the experience at all. Enjoying the mineral water and knowing it’s not full if synthetic chemicals to “keep it clean” is refreshing. Plenty of shade structure and lounge chairs to enjoy also. We did not use the restaurant or spa services on the property. Staff was lackluster but our interactions were minimal. We did have an issue with all our room keys deactivating on our 3rd day but the front desk quickly issued new cards and it was resolved in under 5 mins Overall well worth the cost of the stay and while the rooms aren’t brand new they’re very comfortable and the mineral pools are fantastic
I have been going to this resort for many years. I love that the pools are open all night and the staff is very helpful and friendly. From the front desk to the maids and maintenance people. All very good. This time, my husband decided to treat me to a massage after an extremely stressful week, which was a really bad idea. The young man who massaged me was terrible. He reeked of marijuana, and whatever massage school he went to should be boarded up. Worst massage ever. He never used his hands to massage my aching muscles. Just poking and pressing thumbs and elbows, and causing pain without actually massaging. My husband paid for an extended session, so I felt bad for him. I should have left after the first 30 minutes, but I endured the entire torture. I had decent massages here years ago, and I expected better. My husband said his massage was mediocre but not a complete disaster. Again, she never actually kneaded any muscles. Everything else was great, but I would avoid getting a massage at the spa.
I was skeptical after reading reviews but honestly I have a wonderful time. I went for a deep tissue massage with Nick he was so amazing !!! The place is dated but honestly it was fine. They had live music by the pool on a Thursday. It was a vibe
