Room was great with the little kitchenette and we really enjoyed the pool and hot tub. We would stay here again for sure but be aware that there is NO ONE on site. We used digital codes to get into the courtyard and another into our room. It was a little unnerving that we were the only ones there the two nights there. If you have any issues, you are given a number to call.
The owner made us feel welcomed upon arrival. I called the guest services phone number and she provided the entrance code, room #, and room code. There was additional info in a book on the coffee table. The room was clean with basic necessities such as coffee french press, fridge, and freezer. The jacuzzi was nice. Even though there wasn’t a front desk receptionist the house keeper and owner made sure we got everything we needed.
This motel was spotlessly clean and charming in its 50’s decor. The hot-spring fed hot tub and pool were a treat for soothing morning kinks and post-hiking aches. The bed was comfy and the grounds were wonderfully quiet. French press coffee maker was a treat. Staff were terrific and restaurant recommendations were right on point. The location was great and we felt secure within the enclosed courtyard. On the downside, most of the windows need upgrades as their cranks were inoperable and locks defective. We would have liked to open them to let in the cool nighttime air but instead needed to use the roaring and clanking air conditioning unit.
A spotless, beautifully restored 1950s-style stay — like stepping back in time Sagewater Springs is styled with a true 1950s vibe, featuring a fresh renovation, a gorgeous teal-peach-and-white color palette, and a space that feels spotless and thoughtfully cared for. What impressed us most was how consistent the theme is — not just in the décor, but even in the details like the fridge, microwave, and tea setup, all chosen to match the style. And the experience goes beyond the visuals: Dana and her team were warm, welcoming, and charming in a wonderfully old-fashioned way. It genuinely felt like stepping into the past, in the best sense. Such a unique experience these days!
